waiting in
frustration.
I'll admit I'm a little mad. A few reasons and I'll start locally. You might notice I have 5 days missing from my posts. This is not my decision, but rather, these pictures are sitting in a labeled link "suspension".
I lent my D80 to a good friend who was traveling to New York City so she could capture the place better than a point and shoot could do it. (call me a snob- I liked the idea) So during the extended weekend I picked up my thrift-store-found Polaroid camera and went to work. These images, once scanned, contain zero meta data and therefor must seem mysterious or even mischievous. My original idea for this photo blog concerned only Polaroid shots, hence the name Square Frames. Obviously it has evolved into something else. I'm upset I have a gap in my year and wish they could be posted. I do understand the problem and the situation at hand, but I am left a little disappointed.
On another note the bureaucracy of school has come to the surface of an ever bubbling cauldron and I am swimming in it. One good thing came from today- I secured my thesis mentor for the spring semester and feel good about my choice. The bureaucracy, however, will always leave a pungent film on my body.
