Icicle

Last night was the coldest night of the season so far, here in Calne, in the mild south-west of England, down to -6.8 C according to my weather station, yet today there was no hoar frost on any of the trees, so I am glad I captured some on Tuesday.

Today's pictures were all icicles, frosty bushes or Fluffy, and as I blipped Fluffy yesterday, today I have chosen this section of a huge icicle taken at 09:02 this morning, on a downpipe at Fluffy's house, because of the textures and colours in the picture.

I did get out and about in the car today for some socializing, for the first time in several days, but the sun had already set when I set off and I got no more pictures.
