tree...up

we got our christmas tree today - this must be the earliest we've ever put one up but it was purely because we were passing the forest shop and I didn't want to spend time queuing this weekend. it looks great...we've gone for the mainly red nordic vibe again.

I liked this pic of daisy even though it's mottled with the lack of light...I think she looks like a quentin blake character with her wee nose in the air. she sang to the residents of the old folks home tonight with the brownies - and loved it. she said one lady fell asleep for five minutes while they were singing and another lady said she liked her hair, so she was happy.

now that the tree is up, the kids are high as kites...which was cute at first...
