Just before the tears....

.... that were the result of Harvey the adolescent labrador's theft of the fairy cake.

He'd just moved on, stealthily, from our table, where I'd just managed to save our strawberry and white chocolate cake.

Still, there was more cakes to be had, and the tears were soon dry by the time everyone reached the swings.






(And I made a nice new friend; the children's responsible adult, who was happy for them to be blipped).
