First snow!

Yesterday my mom and I dusted off the bird feeder filling it up with plump sunflower seeds. Within hours of hanging it from the persimmon tree outside the kitchen window it was discovered...

Chickadees, towhees, juncos, sparrows, titmice, cardinals and many more. Just in time, dancing in Chinese characters in fresh snow.
