This is teh volcanic crater that Mrs EG mentioned in her blip, Orongo, the village of the Birdman Cult is situiated high on the ridge on the far right.

Was a hot trek up there but very worthwhile, the Birdman cult sound totally mad, google them, I´m off to eat now!
