Traders

There can be no market stall holders left in Germany and Holland as they must be all over here as every city and town seems to have it's own Christmas market. They do add colour and bring the place to life and they all seem to have a cheerful disposition and look as if they are enjoying what they are doing even in some very cold weather.

Going round they do all seem much of a muchness with the same wares being sold wherever you go. Food also plays a big part in these markets and hordes of people can be seen grazing our streets.

Not sure how local traders who pay huge rents year round feel about this competition coming along and sometimes getting the best pitches in town at the peak trading time.
