Snow on the way out
Today was the worst day yet if you like mu - the coefficient of friction.
There is still compacted snow and ice on our road, but now the top layer has started to melt meaning there is a thin layer of water on top of the ice.
On reflection, taking the dog to the bus stop was a bad idea, as I had enough trouble keeping upright without the added extra impulse given by a puppy suddenly seeing something interesting across the road.
So this picture taken on the way back with the street lights reflecting in the melt water.
