Square Marie-Louise

The Square Marie-Louise lake is one of the six last remaining ponds out of the 48 that once cut across the city of Brussels. At the end of the 19th century, the architect Gédéon Bordiau rearranged this part of Brussels into a series of squares combined with parks and water features.
