Widespread dreadful affliction and devastation....

That was a tough week; travel was tough, customers were tough and aw'hing else was tough too. Still, no travel to the provinces next week, and I can enjoy the uncommon luxury of working at my desk without the need to jump on a plane, train or automobile.

Scouts was cancelled, so Eduardo and I popped into the Beard and Cardigan for a light hoppy ale or twa and met Nancy heading for the new town for to hae a perty...as they say in these 'erts. Devious plans hatched, the world put to rights, we chatted about a potential trip to Berlin in March. Now home munching on Beans ala Melba et hoppy ale.

Everyone in this shot with the exception of the Tintin lookalikee works for HMRC........cough..<censored>.....cough. The melt snow, grit and darkness reminds me of this...when most of us are probably dreaming of this.
