Finally!

The school year is over :)

Whilst I've had really awesome classes this year it's been a challenging year for me, a year where I've sometimes barely kept my head above water. It feels good to finally reach the end of the year where I can have space and time to take some deep breaths, take stock and get a few things in order.

We farewelled a colleague today who is retiring after 35 years teaching at the school. I'm in awe of his achievements, both at a professional and a personal level. R - I'll miss your directness, your dry humour and your incredible insight, although I''m anticipating that we'll still see you regualrly at sports fixtures :) Enjoy your retirement - you've earned it!
