Festive Edinburgh

Well it has to be done at least once a year!

I was passing through the Christmas Market, on the way home from seeing "A Christmas Carol" at the Scottish Storytelling Centre - great fun.

This shot was taken from almost the same position as an earlier blip of Princes St Gardens in daylight.

The thaw has continued, now there are just dirty heaps of snow along the paths and piled up on the side of the road - what a difference a day makes. Still slippery and treacherous if you're not careful!
