Raheny on ice

That's the surface that Mimi and I had to tackle on the way to school this morning.
Along with the dozens of other parents/pupils/commuters/penguins/polar bears.

It took us a full half hour (or a half full hour) to walk the 1,000 meters between the Raheny nest and Mimi's play school.

I thoroughly enjoyed the snow.

I am not all that convinced with the enjoyment potential of this super polished super wet super slippery super treacherous surface.
