Kindertransport
Had a meeting next to Liverpool street station and this statute stands just outside the station.
The kindertransport was the name of the rescue mission to get Jewish children out of Nazi Germany before the start of the second world war. Around 100,000 children were brought to the UK to be safe. Very powerful monument to a part of history that risks being overlooked and forgotten.
