Godwits will not get anything special for Xmas Dinner! No - its true.

This is a sample of what they will have - Isnt it a big beauty - Its the fuel for flying 12,000 K at an average speed of 80K. - Yum ! ( its a mud-worm the Godwit gleans from deep in the Estuary mud with its long beak) He was in the throws of flicking it down his beak!!

I targeted the Godwits today - They're not the easiest bird to capture and the lower the tide gets the further away they get. - and of course its Saturday which means all the wind-surfers and Kiters are out in force. scaring the hell out of them.

Anyway here we go!
