Shattered

This is the lid from our Rival Crock Pot slow cooker. Kind of put a damper on dinner time.

At some point during the afternoon, while cooking on low, the lid just shattered. My wife and kids found it like this after returning from running a couple of errands. A quick peek into the googles shows that this has happened to others. I've sent an email message through the CrockPot.com site and we'll see what happens. The dinner looked so good too.... :P
