Skiddaw

Most of the snow has gone from the tops of the fells. This was taken from Hawes End looking across a mainly frozen Derwentwater to Skiddaw. Catbells, which is climbed from here, is completely green today. No launches were sailing owing to the ice on the lake. Coffee and giant cherry scones were available a bit further on at Nichol End!
