Resisting the thaw

It was very strange looking out the window and seeing most of the view being back to green.

There was just the remains of an attempted igloo left in the field behind! I witnessed a young dog walker knocking chunks out of it a bit later so probably all gone by now.

Our road is still an ice rink as the standing snow didn't get warm enough to completely go and simply re-froze in situ. Who knows what it will be like tomorrow as it was fffrreezing out there in Kendal tonight.
