Day of photo editing

Sometimes I wonder? I spend more time in front of the computer working on the post production than behind my camera. 1750 images from the fashion cat walk took me 12 hours to edit. Gees isn't it a bit too much????? Every time he send me a message at middle of no where?I will tell myself, pls do not expect anything from him, coz his message will discontinue n I will never get a reply back. N now, I learned not to expect a reply until 24 or more hours after with no infos given.
