Montagne Noire

We left our pre-Pyreneen comfort zone and headed out to the Black Mountains; The Pinede woods along the shore of Lac St Ferreol, and the beaches where Gabby picked up and pocketed so many stones his trousers wouldn't stay up. On into the woods and up to the top of a ridge from where we could see home: Canigou over looking the Mediterranean, Barthelemy, and along as far as the Pic de Midi, from where the mountains begin flattening out towards the Atlantic.
