Scott's Gargoyle

This is a gargoyle on the Scott Monument.

I managed to get to town this morning with the aim of getting Dad's birthday card and a Christmas present for the aged P's. Found a lovely card, thanks to the Scottish Wildlife Trust but struck out on the gift, which means I'll need to go back another time.

My attention span for Christmas shopping is about 65 minutes.

As the morning wore on I decided I was falling victim to the dreaded lurgey and ended up coming home to hot drinks and a film on the TV rather than Harry Potter at the cinema and dinner with a friend :(
