Journey Home

Perth. No reason other than we felt that it would be good to get out. Wandered around the town centre amidst lots of closed up shop fronts with prominent "to let; consider selling" signs and thought "nah". Was a good feeling.

Back home and after a cappuccino (with a dash of advocaat), I went upstairs to play on the PC. The pictures I took from the car as the sun went down were all a bit naff so I played around with them. The idea was that I would accentuate the bluriness (while retaining some of the form) and emphasize colour. It didn't take long before I was getting carried away, but I kinda liked the brightness... reminded me of a tropical sunset rather than the cold wintry one we really saw.

Am now thinking that we should have bought those crampons and snow shoes!
