Gingerbread Man

I guess Sammy Davis Jr. had a posthumous birthday recently (Dec. 8th). Well, consider this a (sort of) belated tribute then, to the Candy Man.

I like this anecdote about Sammy Davis Jr., from Time Magazine:

Song-and-Dance-Man Sammy Davis Jr. was teeing off on the golf course one day when his opponent asked him what his handicap was. "Handicap?" wisecracked Davis. "Talk about handicap? I'm a one-eyed Negro Jew."

I know, not exactly related to the Gingerbread Man featured here, but sometimes you gotta stretch it a little.
