Spill the secret

Just been to Edinburgh's splendid Festival Theatre to see The Secret Garden. What a lovely show - terrific songs, amazing performances from the leads, bombastic folk-influenced songs, sweet ballads, surprising Bollywood moments ... a bit too much in the way of ghosts of the Raj, mind (if you're taking a kiddie, do explain about cholera epidemics).

And Sophie Kavanagh as young Mary is just stunning in a demanding role. If you can, go!
