Cotoneaster

Only time for a quick blip today. I almost chose this cotoneaster last Tuesday and one or two of you may have followed the link to see it then, while it was frosted over.

This morning the recent thaw saw it looking happier and brighter. I was looking for a bit of natural colour, and this, from my own garden, and planted by myself some years ago, met my criteria best.

The tree in the background is next door's surviving lime tree that was covered in hoar frost last week.
