Now you see it

Today's the day ................. to travel

Returned home today to Kendal after our few days down south in the Big City and then with friends in Surrey. So it was a day of travel - by car, tube and various railways.

It could have been a day of complete hassle and frustration - Sundays being a notorious day for repairing and maintaining transport networks of all kinds. But I have to say, everything ran like clockwork. We got on and off trains that glided in and glided out, exactly to time.

So - nothing at all to moan about - but oh, how nice it is to be home ...............!
