Kangaroo Point Park

In January 2010, Brisbane got a new park on the top of Kangaroo Point cliffs ... there is a fine view of the river and the CBD skyscrapers from there ... today I took a few hundred shots in the city, and probably any of a hundred could have been the day's blip, but I like this one as it sort of captures the park. It was really hot when I took this, but I was soon in the corner bar of the Story Bridge Hotel having some cold beer. By the time I had got down town, the heavens opened and there was 60mm of rain in 30 minutes at one stage which saw me sheltering in a doorway.
