Before Work . . .

Had to work this afternoon, so before work Ollie and I went for a prowl around the bottom of the cliffs. It was such a great bright, calm morning and we had a super walk. Found a very fresh dead puffin, which is now in my deep freeze.

No, it's not for Christmas dinner! I have a friend who is a taxidermist and she has been wanting a puffin for ages! That's her present organised then - though wrapping it will be a bit of a bugger!

Her own freezer is full of interesting birds etc - not unusual to come across a little owl or a jay when you go delving for ice cream!
