Those outwith Scotland may not be au fait with the term bampot (often shortened to 'bam') and therefore the slightly unfortunate placing of this company's name next to something that could perhaps be seen as a necessity of something which should definitely not involve any bampotedness...

Edges out a nice Cormorant down on the Water of Leith, which is a better shot, but not funny.

Back on the road bike today, the thaw having taken care of the worst of the conditions on the (main) roads. The pavements, naturally, are still an utter disgrace in much of the city (and the reason I was on the main roads is basically because there's no chance whatsoever that the route of choice of the lowly cyclist will have been cleared).
