Making garlands

People in Kerala love garlands of fragrant flowers. We were given one each wherever we arrived. We saw them on the front of tuk tuks and taxis. Women wore them in their hair.

Here is a photo of a man who was stitching a garland. His hands moved very quickly and I had to shoot and hope that one of my images would be clear. I'm please with this one because the background is a lovely colour to set off the white of the jasmine.
