The start of the preparations

Tonight the first dish for the family party was made in preparation for the 29 people that will be descending on our house on the 28th of the month.
Chilli is from the hairy bikers book scaled up massively! Just need to make the curry and lasagne now and do some nifty repacking of the big freezer.

It has been bitter all day with the weather staying in the minuses for the majority of the time. Its not to improve either, just to get worse.
