Took this one quickly to test a new memory card.

The local Rotary Club's Father Christmas had been heard nearby, and I thought I might get a shot of him for my journal, but he didn't show. The streets here are very icy now, and the temperature was around -6C, so maybe it was just too cold or too dangerous for him. Hope he comes another evening.

My daughter and I were disappointed not to see him, as seeing the Rotary Club's Santa is a Christmas tradition. When she was smaller, I used to tell her that once he'd seen her, he knew where she lived to deliver her gifts!
