Snakes!

N and J popped round this evening and brought their "little girls" with them. Two months ago they looked like this, now they're almost as big as Milo. Milo hasn't been eating since early November so J offered to try and assist feed her (basically you open their mouth and place the rat in, hoping it will kick start a feeding response). She spent a good minute or two with her mouth wide open refusing to take the rat. In a way it put my mind at rest that I'm not doing anything wrong (had she actually been hungry she would have closed on it and eaten). On the other hand though it does put her gender under question. She's smaller than expected for a female of her age, she's refusing to eat now it's winter and you can incorrectly probe males as females. Think I'll be getting 'her' probed again in the new year just to be sure.

This photo was taken whilst I was holding Milo and they were all facing away from me, I had to reach around N's back and hope for the best to get the shot. Not bad considering.
