This was taken in Dartford, on the way to Dartford Market, on a Thursday, always an exciting trip but even more so when it means you're not at school and you get to hold mernkeys! I was on the way back from a hospital appointment and was about 9 years old I think, which means this picture was taken more than twenty years ago (factually correct, I think you'll find, ahem) in the days when you could schlep monkeys about the toon for photographic purposes. Modern day's loss, I think.


And, yes, my mum used to dye my hair dark brown back then but now I leave it blonde as it should be.
