Here Comes the Neighbourhood

If you recognise this you'll know it's at.

Where else do you still get a cheese shop (if don't like cheese I can recommend the sausages), fish shop (just bought smoked haddock - "they'll still be a bit warm they've just come out of the smoke room") and a small shop with a fair selection of vegetables?

Saw a late night TV programme the other day (BBC4 on 2 sort of thing). Looked at the 'new' 'safe' NYC. One reason (according to the programme) was 'the shops on every corner' (mostly opened by Korean immigrants) - open 24 hours a day.

Can't see it happening here....
