Isham Church
Christmas shopping in Leicester. 'nuff said.
On the way home we stopped in the village of Isham. I have driven past this little green so often and I have often thought that this would be an ideal British landscape. A phonebox, a thatched cottage, a churchyard and an ironstone church. However the tree blocked the view and it was not quite as nice as I had imagined. This spot is next to a very busy road and a few paces to the left I would have been run over by commuter traffic. Apart from that I did not have my tripod with me and was using a lamppost to steady the camera. I could think of a few more excuses for this ordinary shot but here it is anyway.
