Mallard Cross
Found with the pure Mallards on Bedford Embankment this is a Mallard and probably Domestic Duck type cross. I don't think anyone can be quite sure of the exact cross because apparently Mallards tend to hybridize more than any other duck, and has hybridized with at least 50 other species of ducks and geese.

There were also several of these pigeons in the same area. All with identical markings, one was ringed. This one was missing some toes.
