Tree and Fence
Glen Huron Ontario
I find that in this part of the world, at this time of the year the wintery days are pretty white, it seems that the great blue wintery skies appear later in the winter and December is dominated by these monochromatic days. While looking through the lens, this forces you to find neat angles and search for an image that can tell a story on one of these colorless days.
It is an interesting challenge and I am looking forward to it... as for this photograph I just wanted to coney the incredible amount of snow and a wintery scene. There isn't any green grass in the field anymore and it is winter. The country landscape is divided by two manmade structures, the fence and the power line. I found this landscape by the long arcing branches of the tree. The striking contrast between sky and tree, tree and snow is what I discovered later. Is is perfect no, but I like it.
At the moment i guess i feel I am in a bit of a photographer's slump. I feel like i have tried a lot and I am having trouble executing on new ideas. This slump seems to be partially driven by my competitiveness with a fellow blipper who is getting more views than me but I can let this be distracting. This need for vieEdews is the only fault is my short blipfoto experience so far. This is a fault more with me than the site, so I will have to change.
Enough from me... Enjoy taking photo's in the upcoming Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa season!
I am done classes this week so i will be able to start putting more time behind the lens again!
Peace, Carter
