Cooling system
Just walking through the units, looking for something Blippable.
Decided to choose this one because of the color.
In the centre the waterboxes of the condenser, fed by the two main coolingwaterinletpipes.
Through each pipe flows appr/ 4 cubic meters of water per second and that's a lot.
The yellow/brown pipes are the pressure pipes of the boosterpumps (at the left and right) which feed the auxiliary systems.
The off white colored pipes lead the waste of the debris filters around the condenser to the outlet of it where it is pumped "overboard" again.
At the top of the picture are the busbars, coming out of the generator, going to the main transformer.
This night we listened to the compilation of the livestream conversation between the coastal station Brandaris and the captain of a shell-fishing vessel "HA 38" which capsized a few moments later.....
We heard all the three crewmembers have died, the seawater was -1 deg C.
Here is that conversation (in Dutch).
So I needed a bit of colors on my birthday....
