Shiny Jewels

These strands of pearls were so eye catching, I just couldn't help but ask my friend to hold still in order to shoot them at a recent Holiday Party. Even at a high ISO and f/stop of 1.8, I wasn't able to get a decent shutter speed, so I held my breath and asked her to hold still. The beads looked so pretty in the softly lit room and I'm glad I captured it.
