Christmas tree Shard

It made me smile to see that the Shard has lights in the shape of a Christmas tree on each of its faces.

I had a great London day out with Fred - lots of exploring, walking and eating. We went to the Design Museum, wandered down the South Bank to the Christmas Market and ended up at a chocolate festival. There, we enjoyed spicy hot chocolate and mulled wine before heading over to Covent Garden. At the Curzon, we popped in to see Somewhere and deconstructed it over dinner at Mildreds, a wonderful vegetarian restaurant in Soho.
