Holiday Cheer
Today was the last day a lot of the assistants would be together before we all went our separate ways for the Christmas break. We met for coffee at Cafe de la Paix and talked away 3 hours, before venturing out in the freezing cold to the Christmas Markets in Place de Verdun. In the end there were 4 of us left who were loathe to say goodbye, so we walked to the beautiful Hotel de Ville.
I'd been wanted to take a photo of it by night ever since i went past in on the bus last week and saw it lit up for the first time. I think it looks like a fairytale castle so I insisted we pass it. What followed was many unsuccessful attempts to try and catch Indy mid-jump, before I got this one with Jake running through too. I think it's hilarious - and catches the spirit of the night perfectly!
Sadly, we said our goodbyes, and over the next couple of days will disperse back to the UK, the US and various parts of Europe. For me, it's to Italy and Switzerland with 2 friends from Aus, then back to France and home to lovely La Ro.
