Kingsgate

Within the arches of Kingsgate, Winchester, is this small shop selling books and prints. In such a beautiful city it is difficult to choose one photograph that does justice to it. There are so many photographs that I have taken. Again I have chosen not to share those places that we so often see when looking at guide books or simply other peoples photographs.

We travelled here on the regular bus from Alton much as we had done when we visited Bath. We spent a whole day here looking in the shops, visiting some of the tourist sites, enjoying a lovely lunch in one of the many splendid hostelrys and just walking around.
