Pretty Poppy

I took my camera to the city today and didn't take any photos, but I did get my Christmas shopping done.

Birds:

I heard tiny chirping from the blackbird's nest when both parents were away and hadn't noticed that I was outside.

The chaffinch, which stopped singing about a week ago, still comes to look for bits under the bird feeder. This morning he brought a chick with him and gave it some crumbs. I haven't seen that before.

There's nothing much happening in the thrush's nest. I try to not look up at it because every time I do I make eye contact with the thrush. I don't want to spook her.
