Chrsitmas tree horror!

Max is VERY particular about the tree and how it's proportioned and how the beads and baubles are hung, so imagine his horror when we unwrapped the tree a friend kindly chose and delivered for us as Max has been so busy with work and I can't drive! This tree is really clumpy, lopsided and had a 2 foot bare spear on top which Max has sawn off and reattached with wire and tinsel (we are not usually allowed tinsel anywhere near the tree but this was an emergency). We were on the point of buying a replacement but it looks ok now that it's all decorated (sort of). I gave Max this T-shirt, an early Christmas present to cheer him up and also a CD of 50 carols and some stollen... he seems ok now!
