Bad Irritating news: - Really??!!

For creating the largest nuisance on the planet? I suppose there were no individuals in the running that, say, may have found the cure for Aids (see yesterday's blip) or something less useful like that. Give me a break.

Good I-suppose-it's good news: - They needed research to tell them that?

On the level that now there's now"official" research statistics to show that animal cruelty law enforcement is severely lacking, I guess it's good news. On the level that animal cruelty law enforcement is lacking, it's bad but not altogether surprising news. While the US is ahead of many countries when it comes to stringency in animal protection laws, the officer count to enforce those laws are too small. It is the duty of every citizen to be courageous and vigilant, reporting abuse or neglect cases that they are aware of.
