LET THERE BE LIGHT

Woke at 6 this morning with Kade banging on the wall. Thought I was blind at first as there was not a speck of light. Realised the electric was off, so I went and got kade as he was scared. Checked out our fuse box and all was all right, then looked outside and realised the whole street was cut off.

Luckily we had hot water/gas so could get baths.

Came back from work this afternoon and electric still off thou they were digging in my street.

Had to give Kade and my nephew their tea by candle light and it wasn't till 5.30pm that the power was put back on.

Freezer stuff ruined and no insurance, so am not to happy.
