Eurasian Eagle Owl

We went to the Gyle this morning to try and find Claire and Pete christmas presents. We've decided on what to get, but I'm not going to say what just incase they read this.

While shopping we chatted to some very interesting chaps who run a Falconry day experience. Tia has been wanting to have a go at it for ages so we took some fliers and will no doubt be getting in touch with them soon. One of the guys was a keen photographer, so we chatted for a bit after I had taken some snaps of the lovely birds they had with them.

Saw The nightmare before Christmas in 3D today which was rather entertaining, although it wasnt really designed for the experience which was a shame.

Had a cracking tea of Pasta and Salmon at my parents while watching the Arsenal v Chelsea game, great result for Arsenal. Also took in a cracking program about a baby otter being reared back into the wild. I love otters I do.
