Cold morning in Berlin

Currently in Berlin running an experiment at the BESSY II light source (blip to follow...), where it is nice and cold. Despite the snow several non-essential journeys are taking place. Ths is the first time I've experienced snow anywhere other than the UK, it's much better here. The snow is snow, and not ice.
