Amazed that these leaves endure despite the torrential rains and snowfalls of the last few weeks. They lie on the sidewalks overlooked as they decay. At night, under the street lamps, lit to a warm golden hue, they resemble bronze castings whose reflective surfaces come jump in the oblique light. Sculptural in the night light.
